The short version

We store your email, your body measurements and the workouts you finish - because the app cannot work without them. We do not sell any of it and we do not track you. We do not show ads. Ask us and we delete the lot.

Who we are

My Workout AI operates this site at myworkoutai.in from India, and decides what happens to the data described below.

We do not publish a personal name or a postal address. Everything on this page - including a request to have your data deleted - reaches us at support@myworkoutai.in, which is read by a person and answered within 2 to 3 working days.

What we store, and why

Everything below is stored because a feature needs it. Nothing is collected "just in case".

You are never asked for your phone number, your postal address or any payment details, because there is nothing on this site to pay for.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data. Not to anyone, at any price.
We do not show ads, so no advertiser is tracking you here.
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages help people - never with your name, email, weight or workouts. There is no Facebook Pixel and no other tracker.
We do not send marketing email. The only email you would get is one you asked for.
We do not ask for your phone number, your address or your payment details - there is nothing to pay for.
The calculators run inside your browser. What you type into them never reaches us at all.

The calculators

The nine calculators - BMI, calories, macros and the rest - run entirely inside your browser using JavaScript. The height and weight you type into them are never sent to our server, so we could not store them even if we wanted to. You can check this yourself: turn off your internet after the page loads and the calculators still work.

Cookies

Two, and both are needed for the site to work at all:

A session cookie - so the site remembers you are logged in as you move between pages. It disappears when you log out.
A security token - so a form submitted on this site can be told apart from one submitted by another site pretending to be you.

Google Analytics also sets cookies of its own, explained in the next section. There are no advertising cookies.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used as a whole - which pages people read, which tools they open, and how they found us - so we know what to fix and what to write next.

Google Analytics sets its own cookies to tell one visit from the next.
It records things like the pages you open, roughly which country and city you are in, and what kind of device and browser you use.
We never send it your name, your email, your weight, your workouts or anything you type into a calculator. It is not loaded at all on the password reset page, because that link is a key to your account.
You can switch it off for every site at once with Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser.

Who else sees your data

Nobody outside the people running this site. We do not pass your data to advertisers, data brokers or "partners". The ordinary exceptions:

Our hosting company holds the database, the same way a landlord holds the building. They do not read it.
Google Analytics sees how pages are used - which ones are opened and on what kind of device - but never your account details. See Analytics above.
The law - if a court properly orders us to hand something over, we have to.

What you can ask for

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, and simply because it is fair, you can ask us to:

Show you everything we hold about you.
Correct anything that is wrong.
Delete your account and everything attached to it.

Write to support@myworkoutai.in or use the contact form, from the email address on the account. We answer within 2 to 3 working days. Deleting is permanent - your profile, your workout history and your weight log all go, and we cannot bring them back.

Keeping it safe

Your password is stored as a hash, never as the password itself. Nobody here can read it, including us.
Repeated wrong logins are blocked, so somebody cannot sit and guess your password.
Every form carries a token that stops another site submitting it on your behalf.

Being honest about the limit of that: no website is completely safe, and anybody who tells you theirs is, is selling something. Use a password you do not use anywhere else.

Children

This site is not meant for anyone under 16. If you are a parent and think your child has made an account, write to us and we will remove it.

This is not medical advice

The workouts, the calorie numbers and the diet plans are general information, not advice for you specifically. They are not a substitute for a doctor. If you are pregnant, diabetic, on medication, or recovering from an injury, speak to a doctor before following anything here.

Changes to this policy

If it changes, the date at the top changes with it. There is no quiet edit - the date is the record.
